The Vine That Withers
Written by May Tartoussy and directed by Zain Ahmed. Two Women build a life around a Toronto café in this tense, character-driven drama about survival, identity, and the compromises we make to hold on to who we believe we are. Presented by Arabic Theatre Company and Purple Penguin.

Arabic Theatre Company develops, produces, and presents theatre rooted in Arab stories, cultures, and experiences. We create opportunities for Arab and Arab-Canadian playwrights, directors, performers, designers, and other theatre artists to bring their work to Canadian stages and connect with audiences across communities.
